 We had a wonderful time at the Home on the Farm Quilt Show & British Tea - with over 176 entries and a Tea Room and vendors. There were cloth quilts and barn quilts. Thank you to everyone that contributed to the success of this show.

For anyone that missed the show - we will have the quilts at the Quilt Tent for the International Plowing Match in Kemptville from September 20 - 24, 2022. Be sure to get a quilt ticket for the raffle ticket.

 IPM 2022 Home on the Farm Quilt Show & British Tea

The 2022 IPM will be held in our area - North Grenville on the grounds of Kemptville Campus and will run September 20 -24, 2022. Prior to that time we will have the Home on the Farm Quilt Show and British Tea.

We encourage you to participate by:

-enter the IPM Quilt Competition

-attend the August 19 & 20 Home on the Farm Quilt Show

-while at the Quilt Show - enjoy the British Tea

-attend the IPM in September - it will be September 20 - 24, 2022

-purchase a quilt raffle ticket for a chance to win a special queen size quilt that is made of blocks submitted to the IPM 2022 Quilt Block Challenge.

QUILT BLOCK CHALLENGE HOME ON THE FARM: YESTERDAY, TODAY & TOMORROW

 Thank you to everyone who participated in the IPM 2022 Quilt Block Challenge!

There were 72 quilt blocks completed and returned by the November 19, 2021 deadline. There were entries from Ontario, Quebec and Saskatchewan. It was delightful to see the diversity of styles. The creativity and talent that went into these works produced blocks that will make their mark in our community's history. 

To see all of the blocks that were made, watch the YouTube video. 

The blocks will be used to create the IPM 2022 Raffle Quilt, and then there will be another quilt made for the 2021-2022 Ontario Queen of the Furrow. Depending on how many blocks are needed for these two quilts will determine if a third project is undertaken.

IPM 2022 Quilt Block Challenge Presentations were made to the winners on December 21 at Charles Street Quilt Retreat in Spencerville.

Home on the Farm Quilt Show & Tea Room August 19 & 20,

 

Introducing the 2022 IPM Quilt Competition Categories

Entry fee is $10 per quilt/item with maximum one entry per category.

Youth class under 13 years or 14-16 years: one entry and no entry fee.

All quilts must be made after August 2020.

Prize money for most categories are: $100 for first place, $75 for second place, $50 for third place.

Show off your quilting talent! Quilts shown at the quilt show will go on to be shown at the IPM 2022 Quilt Tent in September 2022.
